An alternative explanation for Scooby's name is the Sly and the Family Stone's song, Everyday People, which contains the line "Scooby-dooby-do" and was a number 1 hit in the United States 7 months before the cartoon launched. 92.232.36.139 (talk) 23:21, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
