[edit]Does AARP stand for the American Association of Retired Persons?? Jaberwocky6669 07:06, Mar 29, 2005 (UTC)
- It used to: the group formally changed its name to AARP in 2001. SteveStrummer (talk) 23:17, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
Proposed Changes in Humphrey's Occupations
[edit]Three mentions of Skip Humphrey's occupations appear to be outdated.
1) Opening ¶ of the entry states Humphrey "now leads the Office of Older Americans as the Assistant Director at the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB)." This summer he was replaced in that position, by Nora Dowd Eisenhower. http://www.consumerfinance.gov/pressreleases/consumer-financial-protection-bureau-announces-new-senior-hires
2) "Personal Life" heading, ¶2, states that Humphrey teaches at Univ. of Minnesota; the url for that reference is bad. A faculty member search for term "Humphrey" does not list Skip Humphrey. http://www.umn.edu/lookup?SET_INSTITUTION=UMNTC&type=name&CN=humphrey&campus=a&role=sta
3) "Personal Life" heading, ¶2, states Humphrey currently is a member of the Board of Directors of the National AARP. AARP's list of the BOD does not include Humphrey. http://www.aarp.org/about-aarp/leadership.2/
