If you
[edit]Want to use a Germanised version of a Polish name you need to use an English reference using the name in regards to to the period you are writing about. Please also show in what way it "shares history" so that it is important to use it double naming.--Molobo 20:04, 20 October 2005 (UTC)
Gdansk Vote
[edit]If you want to use please stick to it, you haven't provided documents required by the vote.--Molobo 22:50, 20 October 2005 (UTC)
- I have no idea of what you mean. The name Danzig needs to be bolded and mentioned immediately after Gdansk, because both names are used in the article. Your attempt to make it look like Danzig was always a Polish city and erase nearly thousand years of German history is not appropriate. Its German history must also be mentioned in the introduction, which explains the two names used in English. Please respect the NPOV policy. This is not a Polish propaganda sheet. If you want to make propaganda, build your own web page. Miroslawa 12:39, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
No, it's you who wants to erase centuries of Polish history of the city and make it look like it was never Polish before 1945 and that it was renamed! Also, show me your alleged "thousand years of German history". I wonder how you figured that one! Space Cadet 13:56, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
" Your attempt to make it look like Danzig was always a Polish city and erase nearly thousand years of German history is not appropriate" It appears you need to educate yourself more on the subject. Gdansk was Polish besides two periods 1308-1466(when Teutonic Knights massacred its population and occupied the city, also you want to claim TK were Germans) And 1793-1918, when it was created as a free city. As you can see hardly thousands of years of German history. To be precise it was part of German state from 1871... --Molobo 19:53, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
Wikics template
[edit]Hi Miroslawa! I've just created a new template to indicate English Wikipedia users who also contribute to the Czech Wikipedia.
Feel free to add it to your userboxes if you like it (and if you actually contribute). Happy Easter. Daniel Šebesta (talk • contribs) 22:29, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Miroslawa. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Miroslawa~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
