Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on March 13, 2005.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ...that despite a sight-impairment disability and his life long struggle with gambling and alcoholism, Carl G. Fisher became a notable American entrepreneur, who helped develop sealed beam headlights, the Lincoln Highway (the first U.S. transcontinental paved roadway), the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the sundown all white resort city of Miami Beach, Florida?

Revising the Page for accurate history

[edit]

The page has been edited to take out true history and make an inaccurate representation by relying on the same sources that without question are slanted and meant to omit anything that was not rosey about Mr. Fisher and the white supremacy he brought to Florida. The article is simply historically inaccurate without major true facts to both his success and character. In fact it plays right into the hands of the those that just banned African American education and critical race theory in Florida. For this reason, I ask for a higher review by senior wikipedia editors of the Fischer and Miami Beach pages. They have been slanted to purposely omit extremely relevant history. This comment has nothing to do with the person but with the accurate history. Is Wikipedia a PR publication or a real tool? If you support this Fisher page you are definitely WHITE.
