[edit]I could have sworn he was president of Nintendo's US division, NoA, at one point. But it was such a long time ago, I don't really remember much. --I run like a Welshman 05:56, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- I think you're confusing him with Howard Lincoln. I could be wrong, though. Andre (talk) 06:14, Dec 19, 2004 (UTC)
- No, although Howard Lincoln does seem to be CEO now on a quick google search (at least he was in 1999). I remember Howard Philips resigning sometime in the pre-SNES era. I was only a kid then so I could be remembering things wrong. I might have to dig through my old Nintendo Power magazines and find out, but first have to remember where I put them. I have stacks of that magazine in storage somewhere, every issue up until around the time the Nintendo 64 came around in the mid 90s. --I run like a Welshman 06:45, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Ok, it turns out he was president of the Nintendo Fun/Fan Club, of the magazine, not Nintendo Of America itself. He sure was a bit of an oft-seen character in that magazine's cartoons, which is why I thought he was a former CEO who was probably trying a bit of a fun-loving type of image for Nintendo's audience. --I run like a Welshman 07:08, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
I think it's actually "Phillips", not "Philips". Every time I see it in Nintendo Fun Club newsletters, it's two "L's". Additionally, it's that way in Nintendo Power...and on his current website ( http://www.hpc123.com/ ). See "About/Experience" for information on his Nintendo days. It also apparently hosts some presentations he's recently done about interactive software. Could this warrant a "disambiguation" page with the other guy with two L's?

Move to draft namespace?
[edit]This article doesn't seem finished, with half of the references being unincluded in the article. The article is ~2 sentences long. Anarchyte (work | talk) 07:09, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

How to cover Gamemaster Classified?
[edit]What would be the best way to cover the Kickstarter-backed book that Howard Phillips co-wrote with Brawl in the Family artist Matthew Taranto? Maybe by using the two sources the BitF article uses? Dogman15 (talk) 00:23, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
