From WP:RfD:
- Billion dollar congress → Fifty-first United States Congress. The target does not exist (see List of United States Congresses for confirmation), the redirect is an orphan, but there's history which would prevent speedy deletion. There was only one version of the whole article, which got deleted for POV. Does this warrant removal? --Fbriere 20:00, 26 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- I saw that one NickJ's list, looked at it briefly, and decided to pass over it and do some of the other simpler ones and get back to it. Not sure what to do about it... Noel (talk) 01:26, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- A google search confirms that "Billion Dollar Congress" was a real phrase applied to this congress at the time (seems even Britannica uses this term), so it seems to me that this redirect is not without merit. So, I reverted Billion dollar congress to the version by BrokenSegue, tidied up the spelling & grammar, made some links, and then moved it to Fifty-first United States Congress. Hope this is OK. -- All the best, Nickj (t) 05:22, 28 Mar 2005 (UTC)
