[edit]Is this original work? -- Zoe
I had to take that page reference out right away, because I can't st... err, I strongly dislike badly formatted text. But does "(Page 98, Tukums, Museum of Tukums; "Puse", 1995)" mean that this is, indeed, translated directly from a museum book? If so, that's going to be an issue. -- John Owens 20:33 Apr 14, 2003 (UTC)
I am not familiar with the rules and criteria, the English wikipedia uses for its articles, but I have to say that this article wouldn't survive ten days in others. This is simply a copy from a tourist handout without any wikification, in parts serving as a directory for hotels, bed and breakfast and the like. The weblinks lack quality, pointing towards web agencies abroad. I watched this article quite a while, it doesn't improve (well, where to start ?) and in my opinion a full delete and a new start would be the best. --Gf1961 10:26, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
Wikified
[edit]Wikified as part of the Wikification wikiproject! I moved around some of the sections, did a little cleanup and linking, but argh, yes, this article is an advertisement. Cleanup desperately needed. JubalHarshaw 19:24, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Locations in Tukums
[edit]I deleted this section. I attempted to get rid of the trash parts, but i realized that none of it was usable. I only the left the museum parts, as it was the only real "locations". If anyone with a good understanding of the town wants to write a new section there, please do, but do not add that advertisment trash again. Mynameisnotpj (talk) 12:31, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Tukums. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20090729083948/http://www2.tukums.lv:80/?lang=eng to http://www2.tukums.lv/?lang=eng
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).

Wrong person added to the paragraph talking about him
[edit]Hi, I was reading this article until I noticed under the bit for Jaunmokas Manor, and it linked to the British politician named George Armistead, who had never used his political career in Latvia, not his nephew, George Armistead, the 4th Mayor of Riga. I'm just telling you I'm going to attempt to change it. Tukumslatvian (talk) 18:22, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
