Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Is your police force in jail
Appearance
Minor incident, does not merit an article. Information can easily be moved to article on David Miller. AndyL 00:11, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: I won't say that a redirect is needed. However, if the author is a Wikipedian, we can ask him or her to contribute the material to the article on David Miller. Will people outside of Toronto know the phrase? Will they search by it (and not "Is your police force" or "Is your police force in jail?" or "Is your police force in jail? Mine is" or "All Your Base Are Belong to Us")? Utility is low. Geogre 00:49, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. And if they do search by this article title, or something similar, the merged text in the David Miller article will be found. - UtherSRG 00:56, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Unencyclopedic. Put the information into David Miller if you must, but really, it doesn't sound that important to me and I'd guess it will be trimmed from there too in the fullness of time. That's unless his political enemies use it to destroy his career as they no doubt wish to! Sydney (Australia) produces several stories this notable every week, I imagine Toronto and every other sizeable city is the same. Andrewa 01:25, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Worthless as a redirect. Postdlf 03:14, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. (FWIW, I'm from Toronto.) Klanda 04:13, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Essentially the same information covered with better context at David Miller. Fire Star 05:31, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. David Miller is better. - Utcursch, 17 Aug 2004
- Keep but make into redirect, which is barely useful. --Daniel C. Boyer 20:33, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, redirect not necessary. I'm in Toronto, and thought the incident was a scream (Julian Fantino must die!), but it doesn't warrant an article. (But then, I didn't particularly think Evil reptilian kitten-eater from another planet warranted an article of its own separate from Dalton McGuinty, either.) Bearcat 16:38, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Merge text and image into David Miller and redirect. [[User:Neutrality|Neutrality (talk)]] 04:25, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)
