ImpChung Mong-pil. Died in a car accident in Ulsan, in a Hyundai-built Ford Granada,[6] leaving no sons.ortance and reference to first son
[edit]I would suggest that Chung Ju-yung, one of the handful of tycoons that formed modern Korea's business sector, should be a subject who rates more than "mid" importance in the Korea project.
The list of Chung's children contains this sentence: "Chung Mong-pil. Died in a car accident in Ulsan, in a Hyundai-built Ford Granada,[6] leaving no sons." Intentionally or not, this could imply that the quality of the car was somehow to blame for the accident. As I recall, and as Chung Mong-jun says in one of his books, the car was hit by a tractor-trailer. I would remove the phrase "in a Hyundai-built Ford Granada" and the footnote citing the article on the Ford Grenada. Tito john (talk) 02:53, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- Or how about simply adding the fact that the car was hit by a tractor-trailer? The mention shows how prestigious the Hyundai-Ford Granada was in South Korea at the time. No one would think to blame Facel-Vega for the death of Albert Camus. ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃ (talk) 03:19, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- As for the importance, you're probably right. ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃ (talk) 03:21, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

Why MDY dates?
[edit]As title. Most Korea-related articles use DMY. I'm going to convert to DMY for now, please undo and discuss here if disagree. toobigtokale (talk) 03:25, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
