Need more info for this article, such as Walker's birth date, names of two other NZ group 1 races he won. winning Maori Sportsman of The Year, etc. Moriori 00:11, Jun 19, 2004 (UTC)
I'm sure he's a great bloke, but the article goes overboard praising him (e.g. he has "substantial talent" and rode a "canny ride"). This kind of wording only has a place if it can be sourced to a quote for a good source, e.g. "writing in SOURCE, sportswriter Ivan Ivanovich said that QUOTE BLAH BLAH canny ride BLAH showed great form QUOTE etc". Otherwise it is as if the Voice of Wikipedia is delivering an opinion, which is not how Wikipedia works. Furthermore, the ending almost implies that he has been unconscious since May 2008 (perhaps he has - I can't tell from the article). -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 13:17, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
