[edit]There is no way I can make an image of Juhnke appear on this page. With all those bugs etc. I stopped wondering a long time ago. Could someone else please have a go at it. Thanks. <KF> 20:51, Apr 2, 2005 (UTC)
- One final attempt, trying to upload the same image under a different name (first Image:H_Juhnke.jpg, now Image:Jue.jpg), also failed. I think for the time being I can spend my time more wisely. <KF> 21:05, Apr 2, 2005 (UTC)
- And now I can suddenly see it in the article but not on the image page itself. <KF> 21:09, Apr 2, 2005 (UTC)
"Restauranteur" vs "restaurateur"
[edit]Thinking it was a typo, User:Rahnle reverted my correction of that word. I do believe "restaurateur" (without the "n") is the correct form. Please see http://www.randomhouse.com/wotd/index.pperl?date=19980112 for details. All the best, <KF> 08:43, Apr 4, 2005 (UTC)
Filmography
[edit]I Wonder who really "selected" this selected filmography. The article in the german wiki contains more than 120 entries in this category, but the english wiki only mentions the LEAST significant roles (except the lead in "Hauptmann von Köpenick"). Juhnke started as a full professional supporting actor, who could play everything, even the worst parts. He was reknown as "man for all occasions". This part of his career included mostly comedy, entertaining (musical) movies, some criminal movies and even movies about WWII. Most of these productions before 1975 can be considdered as "not exactly artistic" (Juhnke himself stated, that he was only interested in the money). Towards the end of the 1960s the quality of those productions improved considderably (to mention the "Lausbubengeschichten" movies, the "Pauker" movies and the "Edgar Wallace" Movies), so those productions might be comparable to more recent entertaining movies like "Police Academy" or the "Ghostbusters"/ SNL Franchise. Even though the roles of the 50s to 70s show the majority of Junkes works IN NUMBERS they can only illustrate the devellopment of the european movie during that periode not the developmet of Juhnkes work. Obviously Juhnke took his way to leading performances over the television (this might refer to his well known alcohol addiction, because of which most producers refused to rely on him, so offering him only small roles or quickly to finish TV productions). So those TV Shows should consequently be mentioned. The Article mentions the appearance in Schtonk!, why is this missing in the filmography? Also missing is Conversation with the beast and "Der Trinker" (after the novel of the same name). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.20.39.146 (talk) 14:57, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
