Son of Namor
[edit]There's the son of Namor. It's a new child created by Wanda? it's confirmed Namor and Namora are steriles. Or it's Llyron ( son of Lllyra and a cousin of Namor).--Locusfr 18:10, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
Planet X
[edit]I there any proof that the scarlet witch was invovled in Planet X? If there isn't, then Planet X should not bementioned in the House of M, Avengers Disassembled, Decimation and Civil War articles. Mishy dishy 11:47, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
Decimation
[edit]This article needs to be cleaned up, as now the series has ended. The speculation eeds to be deleted and a have info about Decimation and those mutants who lost/kept their powers.
Re: Cleanup-Rewrite
[edit]As it stands, the "article" is a bunch of promo quotes, completely unencyclopediac at best and copyvio at worst. Needs a complete rewrite (or to be deleted and redone when there's actual info) - SoM 17:43, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Well, the article's gotten better in the months since. —Lowellian (talk) 10:08, Jun 10, 2005 (UTC)
- Well, I eventually got tired of waiting and just chopped out most of the stuff I had a problem with. It seems to have regrown more... cleanly. - SoM 15:19, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Inconsistency in Carol Danvers references
[edit]She's referred to as both Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel. I don't read the series closely enough to know which is correct; could someone check, correct, and delete this request? :) Sfeldon 02:46, 12 July 2005 (UTC)
- In the regular Marvel Universe, she's Ms. Marvel. In House of M, she's Captain Marvel. Elefuntboy 08:22, 12 July 2005 (UTC)
- Which only makes the Captain Marvel thing more confusing. You have Billy Baston, Mary Baston, Mar-Vell, afro woman, Genis-Vell, Phyla-Vell, "SPLIT!" guy, and now Carol in the House of M reality. (sigh)Apostrophe 00:32, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
- True indeed, Apostrophe. Marvel, like the Phoenix, is a bit too complicated and overdone. Elefuntboy 23:56, 20 July 2005 (UTC)
Frank Castle in House of M
[edit]I haven't had the chance to pick up any of the House of M books yet (and don't really have problems with spoilers). What's Frank Castle's status in the House of M-verse?
- He doesn't appear at all, AFAIK.
Captain America
[edit]If Captain America is an old man who has not been in suspended animation, then the point of divergence is not 1979, since he was frozen at the end of World War II. Ken Arromdee 17:57, 25 August 2005 (UTC)
- There is no "point of divergence". It's a reality rewritten from the present backwards, rather than the past forwards. - SoM 11:31, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
- I've removed the reference to a point of divergence. Ken Arromdee 18:12, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
Subsections
[edit]Hey, I don't own the issues, so I can't do it myself, but I think that the (rather big" Story body of text would be much more readable if cut into subsections, by issue, to give it a bit more flow. Anyone with the actual issues in possession up to this? Zeppocity 11:00, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
Revamp
[edit]I've gone through and redone a large portion of the article to conform to the higher standard. I've thus removed the Cleanup tag since I feel the article is up to snuff.

You think so, eh? I don't. The article is bad. Dyslexic agnostic 20:10, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
- I think the article is fine. Agnostic, if you have a problem with it, what exactly is the problem, and why aren't you changing it?? Elefuntboy 01:18, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- There is no article, just factoids everywhere. Read Infinite Crisis to see how a real article should look like. Also, look at the second sentence, it makes no sense! What are the two story arcs? I can;t correct it because I don;t know the story arcs, 'cause I avoid Marvel whenever possible. Dyslexic agnostic 03:47, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Issue 6 Confusion
[edit]Though Shadowcat started the argument, wasn't it Jessica Drew who majorly objected their plan. I am simply confused. --Windspinner 23:51, 11 September 2005 (UTC)
Issue 8
[edit]Wow, I never thought I'd get to write an Issue summary. Hope my Engrish didnt make people cry. Anyway, if you feel that I've left out some important details or that I've made some odd grammatical constructs calling for surgery, please do have it in your heart to edit it and spare the world from my inability and inexperience.
With regards to the Aftermath heading I've made, it's way far from being complete. There's still the Decimation issue which comes out next week and I believe that there's a lot that's gonna happen from here. Probably a more detailed aftermath of House of M will be discussed in the finale. But for now, I guess we have some of our answers. Shucks for Thor not getting revived. Windspinner 05:57, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
Condense
[edit]Does anyone think all the issue summaries should be condensed into one main summary? --DrBat 13:48, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
- I think it works just as well on an issue by issue basis; that way readers can see what actually occurs in each issue. Elefuntboy 17:40, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
- Maybe a page by page or frame by frame summary would be even better; that way noone would ever have to actually read it (like people read these summaries that haven't already read the article). Look, Crisis on Infinite Earths and Infinite Crisis do not have issue by issue summaries... this is moronic. Create a cohesive story (oh, wait, Marvel didn't actually write a cohesive story...) Dyslexic agnostic 07:17, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
Explanation
[edit]Can someone explain how the mutants were depowered? It is never said how exactly. It would also be appreciated if someone could come up with a reading order for this series as it can be somewhat confusing as to which issues to pick up and which order to read in.
It seems they were genetically altered/devolved by wandas reality warp and are now genetically normal humans. in the recent xmen annual the extent of this genetic alteration is revealed as no more mutant births are occuring it seems even normal humans with predisposition toward having mutant offspring no longer can do so.--Vipa Human 20:16, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
A-List?
[edit]In what twisted reality are Wind Dancer, Tag, and Mirage A-list characters? WookMuff 04:41, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Spider-Man Sub-plot
[edit]I have a few questions about the Spider-Man sub-plot. First of all, is Mary Jane Watson a mutant in the House of M reality? Afterall, she is a famous and respected actress, and after the talk show, she seems to look down on the Stacy family for being humans. Also, I don't get how, after the events of this story arc, in the main arc right before Layla gave Peter his memories back, some guy on a bike shouted out a greeting of approval to him. Thoughts? --Radaar 00:03, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
She is not a mutant. The Secrets of the House of M book describes her as a "human actress" (ie, not mutant). Parker's identity as Spiderman is publicly known in the House of M reality and he is a celebrity, so the guy with the bike was presumably a fan. Hobson 00:35, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
House of M anacronism
[edit]Anyone understand why there is such a large gap between the loss of her children and the House of M events? Hellmark 04:59, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Sorry Hellmark but... who's "her"? Scarlet Witch?? -- Mojoe31 18:57, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
House of M poster cast
[edit]I was wondering if someone can help. Below is a list of the people who appear on the offical poster
Top Row left Havoc(I'm confused by him being on this since he appears nowhere in the story or any of the tie-in novels. he isn't even mentiond in it), Cloak
Second Row down Left to Right Dazzler, Daredevil, Storm, Gambit, Black Cat, Nightcrawler.
Second Row up Left to Right She-Hulk, Yellowjacket, Doctor Strange, The Sentry, Emma Frost, Wasp, Luke Cage.
Bottom Left Row Falcon, Wolverine, Cyclops, Professor X
Top Right row Right to left Mystique, Moon Knight, ??????(Tony Stark but that wouldn't make any sence since Iron Man is also in the picture), ??????(Jessica Jones but it doesn't look like any costume i've ever seen her in), ??????(Pyro I'm pretty sure it's him but if someone else thinks it's somebody different let me know)
Second row down Right to Left Rogue, Iron fist, Bishop, Spiderwoman, Wonderman.
Second row up Right to Left Iron Man, Colossus, Ms Marvel, Beast, Captain America, Shadowcat.
Bottom front row Spiderman.
Can anyone help identify the two people i'm not sure about? Grimm MD 23:02, 6 May 2006 (UTC)Grimm MDGrimm MD 23:02, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Storyline Page
[edit]Why was the story page removed? I readded it for the sake of anyone who has yet to read it, but I don't know that a low standard of quality permits the total removal of the page. --Skychrono 02:34, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
Merge House of M (story) w/ this article.
[edit]Per WP:FICT, WP:WAF, and WP:NOT the House of M (story) article needs to be condensed and merged w/ this article. --Newt ΨΦ 19:47, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit]External links
[edit]This article from uncannyxmen.net can be added, I didn't want to do it myself in case it's a problem but I don't see why it would be as there is a link to their issue summaries, this link goes to an article analysing HoM —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.158.112.85 (talk) 08:36, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Spider-Man continuity
[edit]At the end of the House of M: Spider-Man, the Parker family go into hiding in the country, to avoid the anti-Spidey sentiment. But when the memory-restored heroes come for Spidey, he is in the middle of a city, and the crowd doesn't seem to have a problem with him. Is this some mistake on the writer's parts? WikiProject Comics B-Class Assesment required
[edit]This article needs the B-Class checklist filled in to remain a B-Class article for the Comics WikiProject. If the checklist is not filled in by 7th August this article will be re-assessed as C-Class. The checklist should be filled out referencing the guidance given at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment/B-Class criteria. For further details please contact the Comics WikiProject. What If?
[edit]I just put up a summary of the latest What If? regarding House of M. Not perfect, but it covers the basics. 69.249.35.181 (talk) 23:39, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Red and Ribbon
[edit]I heard somewhere that she gave birth to twins named Red and Ribbon, alledgedly the most powerful mutants to date. Is this true? 66.206.233.143 (talk) 12:28, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
Ultimate "no mutants"
[edit]Is it worth a notion in the article that there's a allusion to the "House of M" events (In Ultimatum #5 the anti-mutant protesters crowd is shouting "No more mutants")?--Baruch ben Alexander - ☠☢☣ 21:56, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Ending Planet
[edit]The summary states that the planet shown at the end of #8 is earth, which it is clearly not. Does anyone know what planet it is or is it just a random one? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.182.233.83 (talk) 09:14, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
Really, really bad article
[edit]A small section about the publication history, a few ISBN, and everything else is in-universe. I came here to learn about the critical response, a section that every third-rate TV show has, but here I can only read about "What If Scarlet Witch Ended the House of M event by saying No More Powers?". Pathetic.
(Commence internal justification why all this is rubbish and the article is great in three... two... one...)
