The following are examples of Clear Advertising that were found to be (or would have been) eligible for deletion under this policy:
- GetCheapBooks, an ad for a shopping website for books. The contents started:
- GetCheapBooks is a website that uses web crawlers to find the best prices from new and used book and textbook vendors. The meta-search combines prices from thousands of large and small booksellers and easily aggregates the data so users can compare book prices, shipping costs and times, new and used book condition, and availability. The results are displayed in an easy-to-read grid that can be sorted by the user (usually sorted by best price first).
- The company was founded in 1998 by Jonathan Miller.
- After more than 5 years, GetCheapBooks remains banner ad free and is an unbiased look at book prices on the internet. Aside from simple price comparisons, users may:

- The Meadows of Franklin Pond, Cambridge, Ontario, the contents of which were:
- "a residential development in the Canadian city of Cambridge, Ontario. Billed as a Nature Preserve Community, The Meadows offers "water, wilderness, walking trails, groves of mature trees, parks and conservation areas" in the surrounding area. The development bends the limits of what can be considered the Greater Toronto Area, as it dubbed itself "in the GTA", while quoting a drive to Toronto as taking one hour.
- The development was built by developer Empire Communities, and offered CountrySize® lots."
