The result of the debate was - kept
I believe this is a vanity page of a very obscure one-time Libertarian candidate. It is not worthy of entry in any encyclopedia. Reithy 14:38, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep I believe that Reithy should quit vandalizing pages with vfd tags. - Nat Krause 16:43, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep Before the VFD, it had 8 editors. This is evidence of nonvanity. pstudier 18:57, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Reithy, I believe you're on thin ice. Some people will stop assuming good faith after a couple more of these. Your MO is quickly turning into a cycle of vandalism and apology. Rhobite 23:27, Oct 13, 2004 (UTC)
- Reithy's anti-Libertarian User page says it all. Keep. He has been twice listed on Vandalism in progress, and also on Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Reithy. RickK 23:40, Oct 13, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, for obvious reasons. Wyllium 23:57, 2004 Oct 13 (UTC)
- A vicepresidential candidate is encyclopedia-worthy, even if he's standing for a minor party. Keep. Bearcat 00:27, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. There's certainly a fuzzy line as to which failed election candidates are encyclopedic and which are not, but I think standing for VP of the USA, and getting 384,431 votes (as the Browne/Olivier ticket apparently did in 2000) is surely on the "keep" side of the line. —Stormie 00:46, Oct 14, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Sufficiently notable. [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 02:02, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. You believe a lot of things, Reithy, most of them wrong. He was obscure in the sense that you have not heard of him, I presume? In fact he was an active campaigner and one-time mayor of a Californian city; certainly more notable than a lot of people who are not being deleted. I do not see what is vain about it. I had the pleasure of speaking to him on IRC once, and while he was not a perfect candidate, he certainly is remembered by Libertarians both in the US and abroad. For this reason, I vote that the article is kept, and that you, Reithy, think a little before making more stupid statements.
- Keep. Notable politician. Stop abusing VfD, Reithy. — Gwalla | Talk 00:14, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. VfD is not a place to express your political opinions. Sarge Baldy 02:21, Oct 15, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, of course, and stop deletion trolls. Intrigue 21:42, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)
