Works cited and cleanup
[edit]Hello all
I have renamed the section that was "Sources" with a less misleading title: "Works cited". I have removed some duplicate and dubious external links to blogs etc and concolidated them in the External Links section. Please see WP:EXTERNAL and WP:Verify.

Work
[edit]Hello all
I have replaced the section Works with two subheadings: Themes and Style, and Reception and Legacy. I have significantly expanded the content. I have replaced unsourced and inadequately sourced content with reliably sourced information.

[edit]Hello all

Life
[edit]Hello all
I have significantly expanded this section and renamed it to reflect the new content. I have replaced some unsourced material and content with dubious sources with material based on the major biographies by Honegger (2001) and Mittermayer (2015). I have moved some material from the Reception and Legacy section to the Life and Work section.

British English
[edit]Hello all
I have added a British English template. Although Bernhard has no strong connection to any English speaking country, British English is the predominant form used in the article so it it best to continue with this to maintain consistency.
